HP Byron Nelson Championship

The PGA tour heads west this week to the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving, Texas.  

Playing over 7166 yards, this par 70 course is slightly less demanding than last weeks test so expect to see some low scores posted if the weather is fine. Last year saw Keegan Bradley announce his arrival on the world stage with his playoff victory over Ryan Palmer in some very challenging conditions. 

The Players Championship 2012 - Results

This weeks PGA tour action is set at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida - The Player Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Widely regarded as the fifth major, it's no surprise that this weeks event has attracted many of golfs big names! In fact, the only top 10 player missing from entry list is Masters winner, Bubba Watson. TPC Sawgrass is a Pete Dye designed course which plays over 7215 yards. Just the same as two weeks ago at the Zurich Classic (another Pete Dye design), TPC Sawgrass will demand both both length and accuracy off the tee as well as very good scrambling ability.

Quail Hollow is one of the finest golf courses in the South East United States and offers up a big challenge over its 7442 yards. The length of the course benefits the longer hitters however the ability to scramble well and sink the longer putts is also key to getting a good result here...
